3D MODELLING

Taking the ideas in your head or loose sketches in notebooks and turning them into a format that can directly be used for manufacture or as a visual aid in the presentation of your ideas, a 3D CAD model is the foundation of any design project. Computer aided design is the most efficient solution for creating new ideas, enabling optimal efficiency in analysing designs and making fast alterations into the development of an idea before the manufacturing stage.

I am predominantly a user of Autodesk Powershape for the majority of my CAD projects that require more complex surface modelling. Alongside this, I am a licensed user of both Fusion360 & Solidworks allowing parts, assemblies and drawings to be saved and edited with a complete structure tree. I am able to generate models in file formats that can integrate with the majority of other CAD packages or be fed directly into CNC machines, laser cutters or 3D printers to start the process of manufacturing. For example, these may include: Stp, Dgk, CATPart, Parasolid, X_T, Iges, Stl or SldPrt.

Some of the sectors that I work with clients in include

AUTOMOTIVE
